All Speedster Clinic coupe GRP body shells are supplied in grey gel coat to fit shortened VW chassis.

The builders kit is just that, designed for people who want to build the entire car from scratch and have complete control over their build. The kit contains:

Speedster Clinic GRP body shell supplied in grey gel coat to fit shortened VW chassis.
Front bonnet including hinges.
Rear engine lid including hinges.
One-piece Doors including hinges.
Pre-fitted front luggage area.
Headlight bowls fitted
Battery tray.
Rear luggage compartment bonded in.
Flow coated under side of body.
1-piece engine bay kit
Pair of plain bumpers

The builders kit comes with a CAD designed laser cut sub chassis with one-piece bulkhead and rear body mount, powder-coated black. This is made to fit a shortened VW chassis.

Do you sell door seals?

Yes we stock all door seals for all bodies.

Can I have a twin grill rear engine lid?

These are only available for Speedsters

Is there a glove box available?

The coupe's liner is part of body and the lid is loose.

Does it come with door trim panels?

No but we are working on a new range of panels as part of our interior packages.

Is the bonnet pre fitted?

Yes it is pre hung, except for the kit builder kits

Do you sell luggage racks?

No we dont sorry.

What year is the Speedster Clinic body on based on?

Our body as based on a 57 for both the Speedster and the Coupe. The Pre-A is based on a 55, however all original speedsters were very similar, you can fit early or late rear lights and an up or down lighter number plate lamp.

What are the fuel tank options

You use beetle modified tanks - supplied with all kits

Do you sell bolt in roll over hoops?

Yes we sell both full roll cages as well as roll over hoops.

Does the body come with an interior mirror?

We sell a speedster one but currently looking at producing a miror for coupes

Are the headlight bowls pre fitted so headlights can be mounted?

Headlight bowls come fitted as part of all kits (excludes Pre-A kits).

Is there space in the moulds for courtesy lights

Do the doors come drilled for handles?

No but this can be added as an optional extra.

Do you sell roof racks?

No we dont sorry.

Is the engine lid pre fitted?

Yes this is pre hung, except our kit builder kits.

Do the doors come pre hung?

Yes, except our kit builder kits.

How straight is the body?

We have worked very hard to create the best mold possible ensuring all speedster clinic bodies need minimal body prep.

Do you sell window seals?

Yes we sell the style for Chrome inserts.

What are the body gaps like

All our body panels are made oversized, allowing for trimming to create perfect panel gaps.

Are the washer jet holes pre-drilled?

No but this can be added as an optional extra.

What seat belt options are available for the rear?

We are currently looking into options for rear belts

Are carpet sets available?

We are currently working on sets for all our bodies.

Will it come with the bonnet trim holes pre drilled?

No but this can be added as an optional extra.

Do the doors come with check straps?

No as these were not fitted as standard as it should be a rubber stop bush.

Is there a headliner available?

Not currently no

What seat belt options are available?

Both the sub frame and chassis otpions have the ability to run 3 point seat belts. Please note customers with the bolt on subframe kit will need to relocate the tunnel mount on there chassis
