We carry out all chassis shortening and modification on our in-house Speedster Clinic Chassis jig. This ensures correct alignment, to start the build of your project.

We carry out all chassis shortening and modification on our in-house Speedster Clinic Chassis jig. This ensures correct alignment, to start the build of your project. 

All chassis are shortened to the following specification:

  • Jig-checked for distortion or accident damage prior to shortening.
  • Jig-mounted shortening, to ensure accurate alignment.
  • Chassis is shortened by 300mm.
  • All cable conduits are shortened at one end, avoiding cutting and re-joining.
  • Gear change rod shortened.
  • Relocated seat belt anchorage points on chassis tunnel.
  • New pedal cluster support & accelerator support fitted, if required as original ones often damaged or worn.
Price based on chassis supplied by customer and based on the floor pans being in good condition

Our body as based on a 57 for both the Speedster and the Coupe. The Pre-A is based on a 55, however all original speedsters were very similar, you can fit early or late rear lights and an up or down lighter number plate lamp.
No as these were not fitted as standard as it should be a rubber stop bush.

Both the sub frame and chassis options have the ability to run 3 point seat belts. Please note customers with the bolt on subframe kit will need to relocate the tunnel mount on there chassis
