How straight is the body?

We have worked very hard to create the best mould possible ensuring all speedster clinic bodies need minimal body prep.

Is there a hood available?

Yes we sell them, please contact us for details

Can I have a twin grill rear engine lid?

Yes, we can supply this with your kit or can be purchased separately. These are only available for Speedsters

Do you sell window seals?

Yes we sell the style for Chrome inserts.

Are there holes pre drilled for the number plate lights?

No but this can be added as an optional extra.

What wipers are recommended?

We use Mini ones as we have a linkage all setup to match

What are the body gaps like?

All our body panels are made oversized, allowing for trimming to create perfect panel gaps.

Does it come with door trim panels?

No but we are working on a new range of panels as part of our interior packages.

What steering wheels can be used?

Most beetle ones for 70s cars

Do they or can they have roll down windows?

Our body are true to the original and do not have wind-down windows.

Are the washer jet holes pre-drilled?

No but this can be added as an optional extra.

Is the bonnet pre fitted?

Yes it is pre hung, except our kit builder kits.

Are carpet sets available?

We are currently working on sets for all our bodies.

What gear shifter options are available?

We are currently working on a new range of shifters to be made available

Will it come with the bonnet trim holes pre drilled?

No but this can be added as an optional extra.

Do you sell bolt in roll over hoops?

Yes we sell both full roll cages as well as roll over hoops.

What year is the Speedster Clinic body on based on?

Our body as based on a 57 for both the Speedster and the Coupe. The Pre-A is based on a 55, however all original speedsters were very similar, you can fit early or late rear lights and an up or down lighter number plate lamp.

Do the doors come with check straps?

No as these were not fitted as standard as it should be a rubber stop bush.

Will the body come with the holes drilled for dials?

No but this can be added as an optional extra.

Does the body come with an interior mirror?

We sell a speedster one but currently looking at producing a mirror for coupes

Does it come with a bonnet release cable?

Nope but we sell these separate. Along with an engine lid cable.

Is chrome trim available?

Yes please contact us

Does it come with a bonnet seal?

No as there is no need for one.

What gauges do you fit?

We use a replica of the original speedster gauges in black and green with an electronic tacho.

What are the bumper options?

All the same bumpers and comes in all kits

Will it come with the horn grill holes pre drilled?

No but this can be added as an optional extra.

What are the fuel tank options

You use beetle modified tanks

What internal handles and door pulls are available?

We are currently working on a new range

Do you sell roof racks?

No we don't sorry.

Are the engine lid seals available?

There is no need for an engine lid seal but we do sell bonnet seals.

What seat belt options are available?

Both the sub frame and chassis options have the ability to run 3 point seat belts. Please note customers with the bolt on subframe kit will need to relocate the tunnel mount on there chassis
